The Israeli institutional investment market

Background on the Israeli market

During the last 15 years, the Israeli institutional Investment market has developed radically due to changing regulations and large consolidations. This has led to changes in the way long-term savings managers (such as provident  pension funds and insurance companies) invest

One of the main changes has been allocating a much larger part of the AUM to investments outside of Israel, and doing so through geographically local managers, global managers and ETFs.

The Israeli institutional long-term savings market has approximately USD 750 Billion under management, and is growing at the fast pace of USD15 – 20 Billion per year.
